the cafe
- where are you?
- 1401 Reed Street, Philadelphia, one block off Broad Street. Come on in.
- what are your hours?
- Monday–Friday 7am–3pm, Saturday–Sunday 8am–4pm.
- is there seating?
- Absolutely! We've got comfy seating, great coffee, free Wi-Fi, and plenty of room to settle in. We're not just a grab-and-go kind of place.
- do i need a reservation?
- Nope! Seating is first come, first served. Just stop in, grab something good, and make yourself comfortable.
- are you dog-friendly?
- We love dogs! While they can't stay inside the cafe, they're welcome to join you for a quick stop at the counter. We even have a free treat waiting for your furry friend.
- what about parking?
- Street parking is available throughout the neighborhood. Most guests find a spot on the block or just a short walk away.
ordering & delivery
- how do i order now?
- Use Order Now on our site. Pick your items, choose a pickup time, and skip the line.
- do you deliver?
- Yes! Order your favorites through DoorDash, UberEats, or Grubhub. The only deliveries we handle ourselves are wedding cakes.
- is the menu online up to date?
- Always. Our menu syncs live, so what you see is what we've got today, specials included.
- do you cater?
- We don't offer on-site catering, but we'd be happy to put together pastry trays, sandwich platters, salads, and other pick-up options for your event.
signature cakes & weddings
- how much notice do you need for a signature cake?
- At least 7 days. More is always better, especially around holidays.
- how do i order a signature cake?
- Browse our designs, pick your favorite, and complete your purchase.
- can you do licensed characters or brand logos?
- No. We can't recreate copyrighted characters or logos (Disney, Nickelodeon, etc.). We work from our own design catalog.
- do you make wedding cakes?
- We do, and it starts with a $25 take-home tasting tray. See the Wedding Cakes page to book.
- when can i pick up my cake, and what if i miss it?
- Pickups are M–F 9am–3pm and Sat–Sun 9am–4pm; your window is on your invoice. We'll hold your cake until the next business day. After that we can't hold it any longer or refund a cake that's already made.
ingredients & allergens
- is everything really vegan?
- Yes! Every single item we serve is 100% vegan, so everything is dairy-free and egg-free, always.
- do you have gluten-free options?
- Yes! We offer a wide selection of gluten-free options every day. Because they're prepared in a shared kitchen, they're not suitable for those with celiac disease or severe gluten allergies.
- what allergens are in your kitchen?
- Our baked goods are made without nuts, but we keep almond milk at the coffee bar and now and then use a nut syrup in a drink, and they share equipment (including the dishwasher) with the baking side — so there's a risk of nut cross-contact. Many of our products contain soy and wheat, and sesame cross-contact is possible too. Because we use shared equipment, we can't guarantee any item is free from cross-contact with those ingredients. Our ordering page lists allergens for each item.
- is your kitchen nut-free?
- Our baked goods are — but not the whole kitchen. We keep almond milk on the barista station and occasionally use a nut syrup in a drink, and they share a dishwasher with the baking staff, so there's a risk of cross-contamination. If you have a nut allergy, just let us know when you order so we can take extra care.

- is everything made fresh?
- Yes! We bake fresh throughout the week, and there's always something new to discover with our rotating specials.
- how should i store my cake?
- Keep your cake refrigerated until about an hour before you're ready to enjoy it. For the best flavor and texture, let it come to room temperature before serving.
- how long will it keep?
- Your cake is best enjoyed within 3 to 4 days when refrigerated. If you need to save it longer, wrap it well and freeze it for later.
